Modified Live 2012 featuring Time Attack was an excellent day out, with unpredictable weather proving challenging for the Time Attack teams. It was also the first day the Team GTR S15 was put on show for the public.
Team GTR entered HKS Academy at Rotorstock 7. This is the first time Team GTR entered a semi-professional drag racing competition running Professional rules. The team made it through tough eliminations and knockout stage into the finals.
One of the most exciting projects built by Team GTR. This Altezza has been stripped of it's heavyweight exterior and replaced with lightweight Carbon Fibre, coupled by the mighty RB26 engine, this ongoing project is going to tear up the track
Owned by Shahin Fard, the Nissan Skyline GTR is the most heavily developed car within the Team GTR group. Over the last 8 years its been developed heavily with almost double its original horsepower. Far from a dyno queen this car does what Nissan engineers intended it to do, win races.
Owned by Shahin Fard, this very special car was fully built in Japan with every conceivable upgrade. As an ex-demo car for Kazama Autos/Promode its a ver special car. It's been improved since it was built in 2002, to include wider rear arches, suspension upgrades and better aero.
Owned by Shahin Fard, one of three RB powered Altezza's we know about in the world. But the only one of its kind with a full carbon fibre body. This project is "extreme" to say the least with a huge amount of fabrication work gone into it to produce a world class track car.
Owned by Tim Savini, the ex Modified Nationals S14a features metallic gold paint, bride leather interior, 2 way diff, powered by a mighty SR20DET, rolling on Agle Minerva. More than just a street cruiser, this S14a regularly gets its "rear-end" out on many occasions.
Owned by Richard Stock, the MR2 Turbo featuring its sleek border bodykit and tasteful engine mods performs well on the road and the strip. With an ongoing 400WHP fully forged engine being built in a light chassis this will be one formidable car.
Owned by Ray Saunders, the drag civic is sure to achieve blistering times at Santa Pod. With the car weighing in around 800kg and around 800bhp, this ferocious car will be one to look out for. Inspired by our American friends this car will be a serious contender in the FWD class.
Owned by Erdal Enver, the Seat Leon Cupra packs a mighty 288BHP from a 1.8 turbo. A great example of a tastefully modified Seat Leon Cupra R, with an aggressive stance, great handling and excellent drivability.
